Keyword

Practical Application of Quantum Computing and High Performance Computing

Project

We are jointly building a satellite site for the COI-NEXT SQAI project (https://sqai.jp/) with the Kawasaki city. We are developing a hybrid system that combines quantum computers and high-performance computers, and exploring quantum algorithms of machine learning and optimization to be utilized at practical business applications. Furthermore, collaborating with Kawasaki city, we are engaging outreach activities of social implementation of quantum computing to many layers of stakeholders (from students to executives).

Desired joint research

【theme】 Practical application of quantum computing such as quantum machine learning and quantum optimization, at business fields

【image】To explore together ways to solve large-scale industrial challenges such as scheduling and traffic control using quantum computing algorithms that we are developing.

Collaboration track record

We have many participating companies in SQAI (https://sqai.jp/) since it launched in 2022 fall, and we are engaging some joint research projects with some of them.
